Diana Twadell loves insurance. Seriously.
What began as a part-time job in the ‘80s while she was attending SDSU has become a distinguished career spanning over 30 years. Focusing on employee benefits, Diana has worked on the sales and service sides of the business, which means she is good at strategizing and finding the best fit for her clients, and she also knows what to do and who to call when issues arise.
Diana has spent the majority of her career working with small business owners. Her expertise in this space led her to create the Small Business Unit at a large regional insurance firm, where she led that team for 20 years. She has been a top producer and sat on multiple broker advisory boards.
In her spare time, Diana teaches the Fundamentals of Employee Benefits course at UCSD Extension as part of its HR Certificate program. (We told you she loves insurance.) When she’s not talking about insurance, she is very active with National Multiple Sclerosis Society, chairing the local board and sitting on the national board of directors. She’s also passionate about playing cards with friends (ever heard of Back Alley Bridge?) and spending time with Buddy, her Australian Shepard rescue from Mexico.
Diana received her bachelor’s degree in organizational studies from Bethel College and earned her MBA from Point Loma Nazarene University.
